Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
